Picture of wound and skin graph Well on Oct 30th, I went back to Cleveland METRO for my check up and the Doc took off my Wound vac and said that my skin graph was healing better than expected. I am so happy not to have the vac on anymore it was such a pain having it attached to me and having to move it with me everywhere I went. Now I have just a dressing on my wound that I have to change 2 times a day.
Well on Nov . 8, I went to Cleveland METRO to get the stint out of my bladder but I have a bladder infection so they have to give me antibiotics and go back Dec 20th to get it taken out. But they did take out my fixator from my hip. Well let me tell you what that was not fun at all, The rods were coated with a chemical to attach to my bone and that is just what it did, it hurt so bad when they broke them loose Bridget felt the pop from across the room. But all is good now I can sleep on my stomach and hold my kids. The doctor gave me 25% pressure I can put on my left foot for 2 weeks then he will raise it to 50% for another 2 weeks then I should get full pressure on the left leg so I can try to walk with a cane.
Well on Nov. 12, I went back to metro for my checkup the Doc, said everything looks great and now I don't have to keep a dressing on my wound just keep a shirt over it and let it air dry. I don't think it looks healed but the Doc. said it does, ill take his word for it, What do you think?
